"Getaway" is a TV program focusing on introducing China to foreigners and tourists alike. Primarily in English, the show follows an American reporter, Da Long, across China as he drives by car to many different exotic and fascinating locales representing the most interesting aspects of Chinese culture. With light-hearted music and very humorous dialogue and reporting, Da Long will drive you around China to enjoy its beautiful scenery, get to know its various local customs, and gain information about traveling routes, food, shopping, living, and many other parts of Chinese life.
