  • Truly Love You
  • Beyond's song, Truly Love You, sang during their 1991 concert.

Beyond was a famous rock band in Hong Kong that was founded in 1983. They have always identified with the people of Hong Kong, as reflected in their songs about social issues, pursuit of dreams, politics, and peace. Wong Ka Kui's 海闊天空 (Boundless Oceans Vast Skies) and 光輝歲月(Glorious Years) are two of their best known works.

Beyond stands out in the Chinese music industry due to the fact that they are one of the very few groups who compose and write their own music.

  • Jumping The Great Wall of China
  • From the Great Wall Facts: In 2005 during a sponsored event the skateboarder Danny Way, 31 from California, steamed down a massive ramp at 50 mph and flew across the Great Wall of China becoming the first un-motorized person to clear the wall. He made the jump five times in front of a crowd of several thousand Chinese dignitaries and officials. The event was not open to the general public.
Two years earlier Wang Jiaxiong from northwest China's Shaanxi province fell to his death while trying to jump over the Great Wall on his bike.

  • China Clinches Uber Cup
  • It seems China's b*ton team is still uber good as they managed to retain the Uber Cup for the eleventh time with a 3-0 thrashing of host-team Indonesia in the finals. The world's #1 b*ton player, Xie Xinfang quickly hammered her way into victory over Indonesia's top player, Maria Kristin, with seemingly easy 21-8, 21-15 wins. The world's top doubles team of Yang Wei and Zhang Jiewen sought vengeance for their semi-finals loss and managed to topple, with a bit of a struggle, Lilyana Natsir and Vita Marissa. China's head coach Li Yongbo is excited for the future of b*ton. He's confident China will continue its domination, but is happy to see improvement and stiffer competition from other countries.
